The two previous rounds of funding have enabled BFP to establish their Australia HQ, Hong Kong manufacturing base, and provide over 100,000 people with clean, safe lighting. In addition to successful product launches throughout Africa, Barefoot Power has recently completely a successful launch in India and is poised to provide lighting to the majority of the world's 3rd world population. Barefoot Power is currently looking to expand investment by $5-6 million in order to reach their target revenue of $10-15 million by 2012 and a projected valuation of $15-20 million. Barefoot Power currently has at least US$1 million of orders pending for the next 6 months, having sold about $0.5 million in the last 2 years during the market entry and product refinement phase. Short Term
A short term (6-12mo) loan with 6-10% interest Under the Container Loan Program, smaller investors have access to BFP's business through a short-term loan. 100% of loan funds go directly to unit production and shipping. Once the product is dispersed through identified local entrepreneurs, the loan is either repaid in full with interest, or the investor has the option to collect the interest and reinvest. Long Term
